Special Needs Fund

Like you, our passion is caring for people coping with the end-of-life. This is why we created the “Special Needs Fund”  to help families with end of life expenses.

This Special Needs Fund has no “strings” or conditions. A designated representative at each hospice is empowered to make a grant to a patient or patient-family which are in need beyond support from other resources.

We set aside up to $1000 per quarter and make it available to ALL metro Denver area hospices.   The maximum grant is capped at $200 per person/family.  When the funds in a quarter are depleted, we will send a notification by email to the key point of contact at each hospice.

These funds are given anonymously – there is no need for the patient or family to know the source of the support unless you feel it is important to disclose this information.  These funds are for needs around end-of-life care and not for burial or cremation costs.

Your point of contact for the Special Needs Fund is Jennifer McBride: jmcbride@horancares.com or 303-577-6057.

Thank you for all the many ways you care and make important differences in the lives of patients and their families.

With respect and gratitude,
